A pushover

I was walking to the carpark after work last night and right in front of me a bloke gave a woman walking in front of her a really hard shove. She fell over and her bag came open and loads of things fell out.

I've no idea if the two people concerned knew each other, the bloke was a bit scrotey looking, traccie bottoms t-shirt and baseball cap and the woman was dressed in black trousers and a cream jacket. The scrote didn't say anything to her when he pushed her and just carried on walking. The woman didn't say anything - perhaps she was shocked.

Quite a few people rushed to help the woman and gathered up her possesions, I set off after the scrote. He walked round the corner and I walked after him. Then I thought: "What do I do now??"

I was a bit wary, if he'd shoved a random woman, or someone he knew, then he is already a bit of a nobber. I'm only short and slighty built, he could easily shove me over or worse. So I turned away and walked back. It bothered me all the way home that I didn't do anything. But what could I do?? Would he see the errors of his ways? Or would he hurt me?? Should you offer to be hurt in defence of a stranger??

I still feel a bit strange about it all. What would I have done if I'd been the random person he pushed over. I probably would have cried.

Neglect

Ooopsie,

Been negletful again and now I imagine there isn't anyone here even slightly interested anymore in my rather dull musings.

I have been up to things in my absence the biggest of which is that I've put my beloved house up for sale and plan to move away from Bolton.

I've spent most days glaring at my "For Sale" board I hate it. But, sadly need to sell Pixie Towers to move onwards and upwards.

I'm starting to hate estate agents though, they should wear stripey shirts and black masks. Thieves are stealing a living and I'm their mug.

That's all for another rant.

I'm back now so hope to speak soon
